Director of Modern Worship
Director of Youth and Family Ministries

Rose Hill Church is a mid-sized, multi-generational, multi-ethnic church in central Kirkland, just a couple blocks from Costco. Our vision is to “lead people toward Jesus where we live, work, and play.” Sunday worship includes Biblical teaching, heartfelt prayer, and a rich variety of musical styles.

There are two positions we are currently seeking to fill:
  • Director of Modern Worship (10 hours a week) 
  • Director of Youth and Family Ministries (20 hours a week)​
Director of Modern Worship: We are looking for a person who is collaborative, creative, and passionate about worship. They will work with the Pastor, Director of Music and Worship and others to plan and lead our unified, multi-generational Sunday service.  The ideal Director of Modern Worship is comfortable with both traditional and modern worship styles, will lead and teach with humility, and has a strong foundation in sound and technology to support both in-person worship and online streaming.  
The Director of Youth and Family Ministries works with Middle School and High School students and their families to deepen their journey of faith in Jesus. They will coordinate and supervise youth ministry programs, including Sunday classes, mid-week gatherings, and occasional retreats and mission trips. They will also engage with students and their friends in the community.

How Can I Help?
​During this time of crisis in Ukraine, you might well be asking this question. We all pray for peace and relief from suffering. Here are two suggestions for how you can also directly support ministries working to help the injured and the displaced, as God leads you. ​
One suggestion comes from our ECO denomination: 
​
Through their Europe Initiative: Ukraine Appeal, The Outreach Foundation is partnering with Ukrainian churches to reach out to those affected by the fighting. In addition to serving as a shelter for people now homeless, these churches provide small stipends to people who need funds to travel to safety and help to buy food and supplies for families. ​
We are familiar with Samaritan's Purse through the annual Christmas Shoebox Drive

​Samaritan's Purse has deployed an emergency field hospital in Lviv and have plans for additional medical relief in the days to come. They have additional disaster response specialists on the ground in Poland, Romania, and Moldova.​

​BLESSING OTHERS AS WE HAVE BEEN BLESSED​
It is Rose Hill's tradition to be a blessing to others at Thanksgiving through the Deacon's Thanksgiving Baskets. This year, we will be giving gift certificates to families (amount depending on family size) that they can use to prepare their Thanksgiving table.  

It's easy to give! Instead of bringing canned or boxed foods to the church, simply bring or send a check payable to Rose Hill Church, with Thanksgiving Baskets in the memo line - or designate your online gift for Thanksgiving Baskets. 

 Service of Liturgy and Eucharist
Wednesday, October 20 at 7:00pm

The service will include traditional liturgy, Scripture, prayer, communion, the anointing of oil for the sick. It will be led by Rev. Gwen North. The service will be a short service for the church and community of believers in the sanctuary.
