Worship services at Rose Hill are…authentic. Yes, they’re led well with solid and skilled musicians, speakers, tech operators, and so forth. But at Rose Hill we seek to worship in community in such a way that it is not about all those gifted leaders, and instead is focused on Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In other words, it’s not a show or a performance. Rather, it’s worship from the heart, with uplifting, Jesus-centered music with all our voices joined together, messages that both comfort and challenge, and prayers with depth and compassion.
We blend together traditional and modern elements: Choir, handbells, organ, hymns…but also drums, guitar and worship songs from today. Bringing together the traditional and the modern gives us a worship experience that moves us from consumerism (what “I” want) to acknowledging what others want, which helps bring us all into a deeper walk with Jesus, who gave his life for others.
